3 bundles for a full sew-in, 4 if you're going 20"+.
And order longer than you think. Kinky Curly shrinks more than any texture we carry — a 20" can wear like a 14". If you want visible length, add 4–6 inches.
Add a 4x4 closure to finish the top with no leave-out.
Care
Wash before your first install. Co-wash after that, never shampoo every time. Finger-detangle in sections while soaking wet with conditioner in — never brush it dry, that's how the pattern goes. Leave-in, curl cream, scrunch, air dry. Satin at night.
